Studio Ghibli’s production studio really does seem to close and start up 3 times each year to the point that some lightweight anime fans might think they’ve closed for good but here we are again with Ghibli announcing a new Hayao Miyazaki feature length film.
This news comes from Studio Ghibli’s official website in a post titled “From Nonaka-kun from Ghibli” August issue in which it is mention that recruiting is currently in place and “Successful applicants will join in October, receive training at the schedule of 6 months, after acquiring necessary skills, will be asked to become a staff member of Hayao Miyazaki ‘s new feature film movie. I would like to expect new force.”.
Going off the mention of a 6-month training schedule we can expect this new film to be released in Japan during Q3 of 2018 and hopefully by Christmas worldwide for a nice little Christmas motive for people to pick up.
